I've been taking pictures ever since I was 8 years old, so you could say I have a bit of experience when it comes to photography and editing. I've taken both high school and college photography courses, as well as spent some time over the lockdown taking additional photography/editing courses. After some unexpected personal challenges, I have been trying to find a way to combine my creative nature with the ability to have flexibility in my career for the ups and downs I have to cope with. Time on this earth is limited, and I want to put my skills to use to help you spend more time living and less time stressing.
(When I'm not shooting or editing, I am either writing, figure skating, going on adventures with my boyfriend, playing with my cat, or watching the various Star Trek series.)

Choosing the right photos is just as important as having the right edits. Having another pair of eyes make the choice on which photos should be kept and which should be deleted can be very beneficial. This sort of skill is only honed after going through MANY photoshoot catalogs--which lucky for you, I have done.

As a photographer myself, I can understand how scary it feels to let someone else take control of such an important part of the creative process. When you work with me, I will first have you fill out a form that gives me a more in depth idea of YOUR style, and allows me to view aspects of your own portfolio. Then, I will have you edit 5-10 "anchor images" (basically edit a photo every time the light changes) that I can use as a visual and/or preset to use on other images in the catalog. I highly value open communication, so feel free to give me specific instructions on what not to touch, or what to focus the most attention on.
i'm afraid to give up control of my editing. how can i be sure you adhere to my editing style?

My standard turn around time is between 3-7 business days, depending upon how many catalogs I am sent during a week. I work on a queue basis, similar to that of a photo lab. When I receive an email that a catalog has been uploaded for me to edit, that would claim your spot in the queue. You will always receive an email within 24 hours of sending a catalog to me that gives the start date of the project and the current turn around time (3-5 or 5-7 business days).

Not at all! Once you are officially on board as a client (or if you choose the free 30 photo trial) I will send you a detailed Import and Export PDF that explains how to prepare your Lightroom catalog, export your Lightroom catalog for editing, and then import your edited Lightroom catalog back onto your device. If you run into any trouble, I would be happy to walk you through any hiccups, or even send a quick video where I share my screen and visually walk you through a step!

Just fill out the client application below so that we can get in touch and I can start learning about you, your unique style, and your photography business goals. While you're at it, start editing 5-10 "anchor" images so that when you send me your catalog(s), I have somewhere to start (don't worry, I will give you more details on the transfer process once you come on board).

Using WeTransfer, it's as easy as dragging and dropping your catalog onto my personalized page! If you've never outsourced before, don't worry, I will send you a detailed Import & Export instructional PDF to make every step of the transfer process as easy as possible. You will always receive an email within 24 hours of sending your catalog to me with the start date of the project and the current turn around time.
